Before joining the IRPP, Natalia Mishagina conducted research at the Center for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations (CIRANO) and worked as an economist at Analysis Group Inc. Her fields of expertise include applied econometrics, labour economics, and behavioural and experimental economics.

Papers published in Empowering Canada’s workforce prior to 2023 were previously housed under the archived IRPP research program, Future of Skills and Adult Learning.
