Craig Riddell


Craig Riddell is co-directing the IRPP-Canadian Labour Market and Skills Researcher Network (CLSRN) research initiative on the causes and policy implications of growing income inequality in Canada. He is Royal Bank Faculty Research Professor in the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia and academic director of the CLSRN. He is a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn and the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (University College) in London, England. His teaching and research interests are in labour economics, labour relations and public policy. His current research focuses on education, skills formation, immigration, unemployment, unemployment insurance and inequality.
