Marie-Ève Martel

Marie-Ève Martel joined the IRPP in December 2023. As a professional journalist, she worked as a reporter for The Canadian Press, La Voix de L’Est, and several other weekly newspapers. She also has experience working as a freelance journalist. Marie-Ève has written several books on journalism and information and has taught as a course lecturer in the journalism certificate program at the Université de Montréal. She holds a Bachelor of Communication and a certificate in Political Science from Laval University, as well as a Master’s in Applied Communications and Media Strategy from Sherbrooke University.
