Immigration and diversity are important, dynamic social and economic issues for Canada. Over the past 10 years, the temporary foreign workers program has nearly tripled in size. In light of this reality, this conference explored emerging themes surrounding temporary migration and the Canadian labour market. The workshop provided up-to-date data and analysis on the economic implications for Canada.
