Science, Technology and Public Policy | Montreal

This event brought together academic scientists and engineers, business leaders, senior public servants and other stakeholders for a discussion on how governments can best use scientific knowledge and technological expertise to inform the development of legislation, policy and regulation.

Our special guest speaker was Chris Ragan, president of Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission and associate professor at McGill University. He shared his thoughts on the role of science in public policy in an interview with the moderator.
