A holiday message from the IRPP’s President

December 18, 2020 Print

As 2020 took more twists and turns than could normally be expected in a calendar year, all of us here at the IRPP kept up, producing high quality content with clear connections to the issues that dominated the policy agenda. Looking towards hope on the horizon for 2021, we continue to do our utmost to inform debate on the choices facing Canadians through our research publications, Policy Options magazine, and Centre of Excellence on the Canadian Federation.

The new year also brings new beginnings for the IRPP: after almost 10 incredible years at the helm of the the institute, the time has come for me to step down as its president and CEO. It has been a singular honour and privilege to lead such a wonderful organization; I have loved every minute of it.

But all good things must come to an end, and it is time for me to open a new chapter in my career and for the IRPP to open a new chapter, too. Stay tuned for updates on the search for the new leader, which will be shared in this newsletter as well as on our website and across our social media channels.

In the meantime, all of us at the IRPP would like to thank you for your interest in and support for the work we do. Wherever and however you choose to celebrate, we hope the weeks ahead are merry and bright for you and those close to you.

President and CEO
