Le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 deux initiatives majeures au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, mais aucune n\u2019a cibl\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re ad\u00e9quate les \u00ab logements profond\u00e9ment abordables \u00bb n\u00e9cessaires pour mettre fin \u00e0 l\u2019itin\u00e9rance et aux logements inad\u00e9quats parmi les m\u00e9nages \u00e0 tr\u00e8s faibles et faibles revenus. La meilleure fa\u00e7on d\u2019y parvenir est d\u2019adopter une approche coordonn\u00e9e qui combine les m\u00e9canismes disponibles \u00e0 tous les niveaux de gouvernement. En outre, les gouvernements devraient adopter des d\u00e9finitions claires et coh\u00e9rentes du logement \u00ab abordable \u00bb et \u00ab profond\u00e9ment abordable \u00bb, bas\u00e9es sur le revenu, pour l\u2019ensemble des programmes.
