He joined CFIB in 1988 after working for\u00a0Woods Gordon Management Consultants in their marketing and economics practice. Previously, he\u00a0worked for a software, networking and computer timesharing start-up, IP Sharp Associates,\u00a0supporting clients in economics databases and programming, and with IBM Canada. He graduated\u00a0from the University of Waterloo in 1982 with a co-op BA in economics, and obtained an MA in\u00a0economics in 1986 from the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irpp.org\/fr\/recherche\/trade\/\"><em>Redesigning Canadian Trade Policies for New Global Realities<\/em><\/a>, edited by Stephen Tapp, Ari Van Assche and Robert Wolfe, is the sixth volume of The Art of the State.
