David Deault-Picard joined the IRPP as a research assistant in 2015. He is a graduate of Université de Montréal, where he earned a BA in international studies and completed his MSc in political science in 2016. His thesis explores provincial social assistance policies. His main areas of interest include social policy (specifically, the fight against poverty and exclusion) and elections. He is an occasional contributor to the IRPP’s online magazine Policy Options.
