Cathy Ciavaglia joined the IRPP team as an administrative assistant in 1998. From 1999 to 2006 she assisted the IRPP`s president at the time, Senator Hugh Segal. She then moved to Ottawa to become Senator Segal`s executive assistant at the Senate of Canada, in which capacity she worked from June 2006 to May 2012. She then rejoined the IRPP team in Montreal in June 2012. She currently works on events and other special projects, and she assists the controller. She holds a bilingual diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) in office systems technology.
