John Parisella


John Parisella is executive director of Campus Montreal, which is responsible for a major fundraising campaign at HEC Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and the Université de Montréal. He is also invited professor in the political science department at the Université de Montréal; associated with the Chaire Raoul-Dandurand, a centre for US studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal; and a fellow at the Center for International Studies and Research (CERIUM). Throughout his career he has worked in education, as well as politics, where he was director general of the Liberal Party of Quebec, chief of staff to premiers Robert Bourassa and Daniel Johnson, and adviser to Premier Jean Charest.

He is the author of La politique dans la peau (2015) and coauthor of Elections: Made in USA (with Donald Cuccioletta, 2004, 2008). He is a graduate of McGill University, Concordia University, and  Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. In 2016 he was made an Officer of the National Order of Quebec.
